Talk with your DMV and your insurance company. My Mother had this type problem when her husband got a DUI. She had to sign papers that he would not be allowed to drive her car.

If you are married, he owns a car.

Yes you can refuse and you just need to tell him no and then he will have to walk. That is his own ppunishment. Happened to my brother so i know and no one in my family wanted to put the ignition interlock in thier car because it was his own fault. (He is alot healthier now)

I don't know the laws where ever your from, but in PA you have a choice. Install the interlock or lose your license for an extra year.

WHY DON'T YOU JUST CALL YOUR LOCAL DMV OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS AND AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL BE GETTING THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.

If you refuse to put an interlock in your car, your husband cannot drive, period. If you refuse to put an interlock in your car, and allow your husband to drive it, he will be charged and your car will be seized. So, unless you are prepared to do all the driving for the period he is ordered to use an interlock, either you allow the device in your car or a car is purchased and registered for him to drive.

Divorce him.

Who ordered it installed? Was it a State Inspector, an insurance man, a Judge, or someone else? Without knowing more details, it's impossible to offer an informed opinion.

Why would you refuse to have an ignition interlock installed if it is required by law? Perhaps if you just refused to allow him to drive EVER that MIGHT satisfy the person who ordered it, if it is in response to something he did that was illegal. Good luck!

Sounds made up.
