well, find out where it's leaking from. Is it leaking from the tank, or the fuel lines, or the fuel pump. Dont take this lightly as it takes only one stupid spark to send yoru engine compartment up in flames. If you decide it's the fuel tank I suggest you take it out and have it surviced or jsut buy a new one. Same for the fuel lines. |

Stay away from anything flammable, go to a repair shop and have them look at it, if you go to a dealership, unless it is new, this repair will cost you an arm and leg. |

Aside from fixing it?.....check other things like tires/brakes/oil/transmission fluid/plugs/wires while your at it.
As Morton said....when it rains ....it pours.....
As with any vehicle;they have wear and tear.A pretty good inspection and testing, pulling on tires when jacked up for example, could give you fair warning that repairs are needed.Check for looseness,cracks,tears,dents(in metal lines),frayed/exposed wire, loose bolts/wingnuts/nuts, and general wear.
Check the battery while your at it...as if there is not enough. |
