My neighbour is delibeately parking right up to my car so i cant get into it, he does it on purpose?

im also a childminder and i have 3 children who i need to get into the car 2 of them are toddlers and 1 of them is a school child, youcan imagine how hard it is to get them all into the car with easy acess now imagine how hard it is when u have an ******** parked right up so our wing mirrors are almost touching. He has gone to work in his other car as he is fixing this one for a friend probably somethin dodgy, can i get it towed away i have already missed a doctors appointment. I needed to pump up my tyre as it was flat but his stupidcar was in the way and im not the smallest of women so squeezing down the side was not an option. It frustrating i feel like goin smashin is head in lol

i have confronted him a number of times about it and also has a massive row with his missus, its just a parking bay with no lines only 4 cars can fit in there. I watched last night as he was fixing it and he could easily walk up and down our cars he must have moved it over further when he had finished. Ive just been and knocked his missus up she is just a lazy cow who does naff all day and as for the backing my car in it still wouldn be any easier as i need all doors to my car for 3 children. really like the idea of beatin crap outta him but i dont think ofsted would be to happy about me doin so my job would be gone but good answer lol

Whether he does it intentionally or not, the question is, is he parking in a spot where his car is technically allowed to be? If you can find any reason that his car is parked in a not-okay spot, it would be very easy to get it towed. Have you talked to the neighbor at all and explained to him that it is extremely inconvenient and he should find a different place to park? If you know in advance that his car is in the way, perhaps you should try to have different transportation arrangements ready as a plan B. But yeah, check the spot he's parking in... is there a mailbox being blocked, is it blocking part of a driveway, is it too far into the street, etc..... you haven't explained the parking situations, so I really have no clue.

**EDIT** Given your parking situations, call parking services anyway. If you give the tow guy the neighbor's contact info, perhaps just having the tow guy come out and talk to the neighbor and spook him a little will get the guy to stop parking so close, even if he's technically not doing anything wrong. Most tow guys I have met are very nice and are okay with doing a favor like that, if it doesn't stretch out too far from their code of conduct or what-have-you.

Don't talk to him or his wife anymore. "Talk" to him by taking pictures every day, from all angles, including showing how hard it is for you to get into your car if you can get someone else to take that kind of picture, then haul him into court. Your pictures will be proof of your complaint.

If he's there when you take pictures, have someone with you if possible with another camera or minicam also taking pics. If he gets ugly, i.e. tries to take your camera away - have your friend click away, and call the cops . You'll be building up a case against the inconsiderate s.o.b.

Scratch the car and say to him:

"Sorry but I scratched your car. Your car is too close to mine. I tried to squeeze through and scratched it by accident".

Does he own the flat where he lives or does he rent?

If he rents, take pictures of the car - if you have a camera that 'date stamps' the image, great, if not, try and hold a newspaper with that days headline clearly visible as proof that "this happens each day".

Send this information off to his landlord, detail how it's happening all the time, how verbally obstructive he is being and his total lack of consideration.

HIs landloard will then speak to him - assuming his landlord is decent, he won't want the hassle of having nightmare tenants and will get it dealt with.

Whilst it's tempting to resort to vandalism, I wouldn't go there and towing would be a great idea but you'd be out of pocket and you can be 100percent certain that he'd do something far worse to you as revenge. People like that always think other people have the problem and can't see they are the ones at fault.
