My rear window shattered in my car..can i still drive it?

I was just driving down the highway..and all of a sudden there is this LOUD pop noise, and my rear window is shattered..spiderwebbed, but still in place. I can see out of it just fine, just a bit blurry..can i still drive it legally without getting a ticket or anything until i can get it fixed..

Where I live it all depends on the officer and how they interpret the Iaws and the visual interuption due to the break. I do know of some that have been ticketed for just that same type incident and some have not. Your best bet is to get the glass repaired as soon as possible in order for it not to fall on out. If it spiderwebbed then it was tempered glass as it should be which is good.

If you have insurance check with them it might covered. The good thing with glass if covered they will come out to you home or work.

you can still drive with a broken window u wouldnt get a ticket

if it blocks your view yes you can get a ticket. I don't think you'd be likely to get one for a back window though. I would be careful so that it doesn't break all the way.
