NYC Parking ticket - How to plead Not Guilty by In-Person hearing?

I got a parking ticket 'obstructing intersection' last night, and I had strong reasons to believe that I was not guilty. I want to plead not guilty and choose 'in person' method, as I want to end this up asap.

It says in the ticket that 'No appointment is necessary. Bring evidence and notice to a business center M-F'.

Questions are
1) what is the procedure like? how long does the whole 'in person' procedure take?
2) I wonder if this is the case, will the police be present?
3) what is the likelihood to dismiss the ticket? I did not take pictures at that time, but I did draw some graphs and could explain what was going on.
Additional Details
UCANTCME, regarding ur answer 2), since I don't need to make an appointment, how would the police officer who issued me the ticket be on court when I went there?

If it is like any court system- you will sign in and tell the clerk why you are there & give them information as to what the citation number is. Then you will be assigned a case number for that day- most likely.

They will pull up the information & place you on a list as to which judge you are to see (if they use more than one traffic judge)

Since you are contesting the citation, the officer that wrote the citation will most likely then be notified and asked to report. Don't worry- most police departments pay the officers extra pay or give them time and a half pay so they will show up & (s)he will most likely be there.(hey- it's easy money for the amount of work involved)

**Spoiler alert** If you show up at 9 AM- don't expect to be seen until at minimum 2 hours later so the officer can be notified & able to show up prior to when your case is called to be heard.

After your case is called, you will finally get to see the judge, get sworn in & able to present your side of the situation. Then it's the officers turn and you just wasted a minimum of 2 hours and will then be directed to where you need to go to pay your fine plus any additional court costs now if they charge you to contest your citation (Some do. some don't- not sure for NYC)

1. It depends on how many other people are there and it could be a whole day event.

2. Yes the police offer will be there.

3. It depends on what your evidence is that will prove that this ticket should be dismissed.

If you challenge the ticket with evidence they would have the officer brought in too disprove what you are saying..

The likelihood it will be dismissed are miniscule. I'm telling you, you're wasting your time. You will be there ALL DAY first off, and it's rare that you get out of a ticket. Cops don't make up tickets like everyone seems to assume adn the judge is aware of this. The ticket does not go on your driving record, it's just a fine. The time you will lose from work will probably cost you more than the actual ticket. Just pay the thing and don't do it again.
