Buying fast cars is not a good idea. I think that young teens should drive cars that are not built with so much speed. If they are to drive at all, they should drive cars that are only capable of going so fast and that only provide the means of transportation at a minimum. Having fast cars, is a temptation to a young person. They are only useful if you can drive responsibly. Most teens have proven they cannot, and the results have been deadly throughout the years. I think you are right. Parents should not be purchasing fast cars for teens. It only causes more accidents and deaths.

i hear ford is coming out with a smart key, and it sounds like the best idea yet, how it works, you know how car keys have those small black chips on them well you can get a key made just for your teen driver and when the key is inserted in the car the car will read the chip and see that the teen is driving. and the best part is you can set limitation like a top speed rather it 60,65,or even 80mph you can even control how high they can turn the radio up it should be out in 2010 starting in the ford focus and will be out for more ford product cars later
