There's usually a place under the parking brake to put it. Put some pressure on it to relieve the pain.
Back in the stone age when I was taught to drive, we learned to brake with our left foot!
On long trips when I get real bored--I use my left foot to drive and brake.

why not? i drive with my leg in the seat, especially if im on a long road trip. you gotta make yourself comfortable and if that's what it takes just do it. i like to drive with no shoes. it reminds me of home(in the country), and that's how i grew up learning to drive. putting your leg under your other on the seat looks like your only option since the other positions hurt your hip. go ahead its not illegal. |

there should be a rest "dead" pedal on the left. u don't have to outstretched ur leg. If ur right leg able to reach the gas pedal then ur left leg should be able to rest on the dead pedal, unless ur legs are uneven j/k |

lift it up over your head and keep it there |

install a dead pedal
the seat should be the issue here, not your leg. If you have a good supporting seat then your hip will be fine. |

When i took drivers training they said that your left foot should sit comfortably on the little hump to the left of the emergency brake
try everything there is no set way as long as your not in any danger of hurting yourself in an accident |

I usually stick my foot underneath the emergency break pedal. Usually in just about every car there's enough space for it, and I have pretty big feet. |

YOU HAVE BASICALLY GAVE ALL SUGGESTION FOR YOUR SELF. EITHER KEEP IT SLIGHTLY TUCKED OR EXTENDED SLIGHTLY. I KEEP THE BEAT WITH MUSIC WITH MY LEFT FOOT, WHILE I AM DRIVING TO KEEP IT FROM GOING TO SLEEP. WHICH IS KINDA HARD, SO DONOT TRY IT GOING DONE THE INTERSTATE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. |

try using a small pillow to prop next to your hip.
I had to get creative when I was pregnant. I could barely touch the pedals and keep the seat back far enough for my tummy. The pillows works wonders. Good Luck! |
