Off road vehicle rules? for sand dunes and dirt?

i have ford bronco and i ve done alot of things on it. like crazy stuff shocks and 9 inch lifts etc. and it turned out become not suitable for street. so i am going to make this ford bronco to become legal for sand dunes or dirt only. not street legal. but i need to know what is the sand dune rules that i can have this ford bronco on sand dunes or dirt. whats thier rules. do i need to have special tires. or special sticker etc? im from california

A lot depends on where the dunes are and who owns the land. If it's public land, like a state/national park, you'd need to contact the site manager; if private property, get in touch with the owner.
