I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED THEY ARE ILLEGAL, WHERE IS THE COMPLAINING WITNESS?, ITS NOTHING BUT A WAY TO GET MORE TAXES OUT OF YOU AND IT HAS PROVEN THERE ARE MORE REAR ENDERS WITH THEM.
I HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN A CLEAR PLASTIC LICENSE PLATE COVER AND SPRAYED THE INSIDE OF IT LIGHTLY WITH SILVER SPARKLE SPRAY, WHICH DEFLECTS THE FLASH, THEY WANNA TAX ME, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEFEND MYSELF.

I believe speed cameras have many benefits. Here is a list of pros and cons of speed radars.

Pros:
*Speed radars help to decrease the speed by flowing traffic. If drivers know there are radars or speed cameras present in the area, they will likely decrease their speed.
*They promote awareness. As said if someone knows the cameras are there they will be careful of their speed. It keeps one in tune with their driving habits.
*Creates a system of responsibility. If a driver is caught and is fined due to speeding, it causes them to keep their speed lower in the future to avoid further fines or accidents.

Cons:
*Chance of malfunctioning. Man made products have their faults. Sometimes the cameras may malfunction if they are not kept up to date causing drivers to be falsely fined.
*Driver caught without actually speeding. There have been instances when a driver may have been speeding but was not caught but in the process another innocent driver was fined because the flash caught the wrong vehicle.
