Permission Revocation

If I was given permission to drive a car, then whilst I am operating it I receive a text message revoking my permission to drive the car, does my permission end when the owner sent the text? or when i read it?

As you shouldn't have been reading a text message while driving, you could safely assume that permission was revoked at the point when you stopped driving to read the text message.
