Please Help...How do I remove the Britax Marathon Seat cover from the Carseat to clean? ?

Just need to know how to get the seat cover off so i can clean this, it seems to be hindered by the two straps?Any help would be great....

i had a brittax freeway when my son was small, not sure if it is the same, but it might help.
at the shoulder end of the straps were two metal clips, used for adjusting the height as junior grows. by loosening the straps, these metal clips can be unthreaded and removed.
there were similar clips at the bottom of the seat for the other ends of the straps. they clip onto the adjusting strap underneath somewhere, they all slide off. it has been a couple of years since i looked at ours, sorry.
once you ave threaded the clips off, the straps feed through easily. the cover was only held on by elastic round the edge, so it peeled off with no problems.
when it comes to putting it back together, clip the buckle up before trying to do the straps. this way, you can be sure everything is the right way up and not twisted etc. |
