Question about driving?

If your vehicle has an anti-lock braking system (ABS), apply minimum pressure from your foot.

A. True
B. False

Not sure the question makes sense. The point of ABS is that if you panic and slam hard on your brakes, they don't lock up. So I would probably say B. But, you don't want to hit your brakes hard anytime if avoidable, unless you want a big repair bill every year to replace them. If you do not have ABS, you will lock yourself up and go into a skid if you slam hard.

False. ABS is a computer system that calculates how best to apply the brakes in a braking situation. Simply slam your foot on the brake and let the computer sort it out. If your car does not have ABS you must manually pump the brake to avoid skidding or losing control.

Therefore, apply MAXIMUM pressure in a vehicle equipped with ABS.

Depends on the situation. If you slam on the breaks the computer will compensate so the wheels will not lock. Otherwise use them like you normally would.

A, not minimum though temperate.

B. False. The ABS is only in use when you are breaking hard, at which time you will begin to feel a vibration on your foot. Don't let off until your emergency is over.

B, Because if you apply minimum pressure you are not going to stop in time, in turn slamming the brakes on only activates the abs which is a weird feeling also.

who cares
anti-lock breaks are designed to stop a vehicle without locking up the wheels so you don't go into a skid so therefore you can apply as much pressure as you desire because the computer in your car senses when the wheels lock and automatically release pressure
