Question about the rules on the road :D?

ok so im at a stop sign making a left hand turn across two, two lane streets if i complete my turn and get rear ended whos fault would it be?

My driving instructor (I'm in the UK) told me you shouldn't make a manoeuver that causes another driver to have to brake. You would be at fault.

kelly_f_1999
would be yours for turning in front of them but most likely cops would say it was theri for not slowing down for you but cutting across any road in front of anyone it would be your own fault if you get hit your supose to wait for traffic to clear before turning
