This, I couldn't find the answer to online. I also have a few other questions that I would also like an answer to.
1. At a Railroad Crossing in New York (non gated, no lights no nothing) with just a sign, what am I supposed to do?
2. At a traffic intersection in NYS, when the light is green and you want to turn left, you may pull up to the center of the intersection if there is no one there, to prepare for your turn. Do I HAVE to do that?
3. At an intersection where you must yield...where am I supposed to stop, as there is a crosswalk and no yield line.
I know that these are basic questions, but I have a road test soon, and I don't know what I will do if I fail (wait time here is long)

1. slow down so you can stop before the tracks if train is coming if not look,listen, than go across tracks .2.its up to you if you want to make the turn.. traffic coming at you might be too heavy for you to turn at the stop line,if you are in the intersection and the light turns red for you. you can still make the turn with out any problems,the green light for the other lanes too go have to wait for the intersection to clear before they can proceed through the light..3.stop before the crosswalk if no one in cross walk can move up into crosswalk than look to see if it is clear to make your turn.. |

1. Stop. Look both ways to see if there are trains. If there is a train coming, wait for it to pass. If there are no trains (in either direction), go.
2. Not sure.
3. Before where there would be a crosswalk if there was one. |
