Americans call roundabouts what else? Roundabouts. As having to deal with three everyday (probably the most poorly engineered roundabouts in the world) I've learned the name well, and how to properly curse them out.
Now, a traffic circle is different, and traditionally smaller than a roundabout. Sometimes they have different, or no traffic controls. Sometimes a stop sign, instead of the traditional yield. |
