Safe to drive with 3 bolts out of 4 on front tire?

i'm currently driving a 01 hyundai accent and my front left tire only has 3 bolts out of 4. Is it safe to drive with this? If so (or not), please explain as to the limitations such as speed and turning influences and etc

I used to drive 1998 Honda civic with 3 bolt out of 4 on front and left tire. I went on long trip from Miami, fl to Rochester, ny and then from NJ to Texas. So far, the car is handle fine. You should speed no more than 60 mph for your safety.
You can leave like that for while. But, suggest you to buy one bolt from advance auto parts or any auto parts store cost you about a dollar. |

its obviously less safe than having all for and eventually the wheel will wobble and loosen the other ones and you wheel could become damaged or fall off go to a auto parts store and buy a lugnut they dont cost that much |

Wouldn't recommend it. Wheel studs are easy to replace and you can get them at any automotive store. |

Its safe enough, just replace the nut & bolt as soon as you can. |

Yes I'm driving with 4 out of 5 on my right front tire your fine. As long as they are as tight as u can get them your fine. |

Simple answer - NO!!!!
Causes stress on the wheel, can start a crack, which could casue loss of the wheel. Never drive with a lug bolt missing.

It is NOT safe. If the wheel only needed three bolts to secure it, then it would have been designed with three studs. That's why you see some cars designed with four studs, some with five. Some bigger wheels, like on larger trucks have six, eight, ten and even twelve studs. They are that way because they NEED to be that way.
Vehicle manufactures rarely design one with extra parts just for the heck of it. |

Can it be driving yes, is it safe no because while turning this will put extra pressure on the wheel and can cause extra stress on the remaining studs plus you can be ticketed for an unsafe vehicle. |
