Today UPS (delivery service) is comming to my house to pick somthing up ( my ipod ) which will be sent back to apple. When the guy gets here and I give it to him all packed do i get a recipt....cause couldnt he just keep it or somthing
Ps. It's a prepaid service offered by Apple

i work for ups and you should get a tracking slip (receipt) that has a tracking number on it so you can use the ups website to track the shipment in order to make sure it gets back to the factory. if you don't receive one, just ask the driver about it, and they will clarify any questions you should have. and no they wont just keep it and not send it back, that's an automatic termination and they don't want to lose their huge salaries. |

ups works off a eletronic key pad most likely no paper work and if your mailing it sure just like post office |

Yeah, they'll give you a receipt when they collect it, basically so that they can't turn round and say 'we never picked it up'.
If they don't give you one, ask for one, and if they still won't, then don't give them the Ipod ;)

Sometimes they just scan it then you can track it online. Ask the driver for one if you want to be extra sure but usually it is a scan and an electronic signature pad, we use then all the time. |

Definitely. The delivery service should issue a receipt acknowledging the receipt of your "package." |

Yes. You should get a receipt to keep for your records. How else would you know that UPS took your order? You'd know based on them picking it up, but receipts are there for your records. Without it, you may forget it, and you might not remember how much the delivery charge is. So if they don't give you one upfront, you need to ask them to do so, because the receipt is for you. |
