yes he shuld. He was dumb for not wearing it, and if others must get fined for not wearing one, he is no different, and ought to get a fine as well. |

i guess he should...but you have to admit he kinda has already paid the price in other ways (tons of painful injurys plus a most likely huge medical bill) |

How long has he been in the hospital?? I think the statute of limitations for this offense has come and gone..... He's lucky to be alive, and I can safely venture an educated guess that he will NEVER FORGET to Buckle Up ever again.
He did something stupid, which proves he's human just like the rest of us. I don't think that a double standard is right either, but we haven't heard much about the hunt for the "mysterious red truck" that caused this in the first place. |

As a New Jerseyan frequently heckled by police for driving a sporty-looking car, I believe that Corzine should have been served with a citation the moment he regained consciousness.
Furthermore, the state trooper who was driving the car should be discharged from the force, prosecuted for felony reckless endangerment, cited for speeding, cited for not ensuring the safety of his passengers, and sued for every penny by the civilian driver(s). |
