Should drivers caught under the influence of drugs or alcohol get the death penalty?

No, you can't go around killing folks for what might happen. They should be sent to a special prison where they have to live in their cars and stay intoxicated while participating in a pay-per-view 24 hrs a day demolition derby.

No. People who actually commit murder rarely get the death penalty. There is not enough room on death row as there is. Harsher penalities such as confiscation of the vehicles and a breathalizer attached to the ignition is more appropriate, as well as drug and alcohol counseling and jail time or probation. The laws are getting tougher all the time. We don't need the death penalty, we just need for the current laws to be enforced.

You are wrong. People who today drink and get high is because of theyr childhood. They had a hard childhood because theyr parents weren`t a good example. i think the best punishment for those kind of people is death penalty for their love ones so they would suffer like how other people suffer when they lose their love ones because of irresponsible driving!!!
