No way. I fully support the graduated licensing scheme - limited driving privileges begin at 16, ramp up to full privileges at 18. |

no way there are enough idiots on the road,at 15 they think they are invincible and nothing can hurt them |

definitely not ..judging by the lunatics on the road nowadays you should have at least 10 weeks solid training on all aspects of driving ..at the starting age of 20..pass a basic pass test then you should have at least 2 years of road experience before taking a fully qualified driver test..only then should you be allowed to carry passengers.. |

no. there's no reason for it to be necessary. |

I think it should be raised to 18. I remember how immature i was at 15. My brother is 16 and i don't think he should be able to drive yet. But on the other hand you never get good at driving without driving experience.
I think they should let you get your permit as early as 15 or 16 but you have to drive with your parents until you are 18 |

In my personal experience it should be highered to 18 and even then only low powered cars until you are 21, slightly higher powered cars between 21 and 25 and any car after 25.
Before anyone moans, stats show 17 - 25 years are most at risk, probably through lack of experience, speeding and showing off.
I also think that as part of your test you should sit and pass a motorcycle awareness test. |

no but teaching kids how to drive should be learned befoe they 15 or 16 and shouldnt be able to drive alone without parents for a year |

No. I think it should be higher than 16, too. 18, 19 maybe. |

A full drivers license should be legal at 18. The real question is what age to take it away. Very old drivers scare the crap out of me. Driving tests should be required every 2 years after retirement age. After all, they have the time. |

Some states have tried this and found that the accident rate increased enough that everyone in that state had to pay higher insurance rates, compared to adjoining states. Actuarial data shows that if the driving age nationwide were raised to 18, insurance rates would lower due to a drop in the accident rate. |

Hell no. 15 year olds have little to no common sense and think they are invincible. I think it should be raised to 18. |

its kinda yes and no i think 16 is good but i know that some 16 yr olds shouldnt drive. i was driving at 10 and could drive better then most adults. by age 13 i could drive a stick Parallel park and back up a 25foot trailer with only using my mirrors. i think if they raise it then some kids should be able to drive if they have a job. or if you have to help support your family. they could let you drive before your 18 if you have good grades or something like that |

Absolutely not most places want 18 and 21 would be better. |

Its playoff time!

Not at all. I think it should be raised to be 18. So many idiots on the road and a few times, i've almost gotten into a wreck because of them. |
