Should the age limit be 21 to drive in the USA?

No, that would be a very dangerous decision.

Skills such as driving are better learned at a younger age. It is a skill that develops with time. The problem with younger drivers is the lack of understanding of the consequences of actions, such as speeding or racing.

The best way to improve driving among teenagers is to have automatic restrictions for violations.

No, but it should be for people asking questions here.

No. That's just a new whipping post for the losers in society. You will find a troubled history underneath each one of them.

Yes. Teenagers don't respect the rules of the road as much as experienced drivers and tend to speed and be distracted more easily and not focus on the road as much as they should.

No here are my reasons

1.Most other countries age is 18

2. Why would you allow them to drive the same age as they can drink?

3. It's not young drivers that make them bad drivers, it's inexperience

That's ******* retarded.

at 18 most are out of school and working or at college so they have to be responsible and have transportation to a job or school .

NO WAY

No.

Arbitrary age limits are pointless for just about anything. 17-year olds who have shown that they can drive safely (by passing a driving test) should be legally allowed to drive.

Public transportation is not an option for a very large number of Americans. When you cut off transportation options, you're basically requiring 18-21 year-olds to be (at least partly) supported by someone older. That's a drain on their families as well as local employers.

What evidence exists that shows a new driver at 21 is safer than a new driver at 17?

Nope.....

at 18 you can serve in the Military,
But you cant buy a beer,

No, I learned how to drive when I was 13, by watching the way my parents drove. If you are 40 years old and never drove a car, someone who is 15 will drive better than you.

r u f****** crazy it should be 15 cuz then ur more experienced when you start drinkin(n you can drive earlier)

No, but under 18 I think there should be a cerfew, at 18 you are able to be drafted, or charged as an adult, so why restrict them from anything good an adult can do.
