It seems more sense to me that passengers should be protected in case of a major wreck, especially children on school buses. I use to think that all the time while riding the bus to school, I mean, the freaking bus driver has a seat belt, what about the rest?

I drove the city bus for 4 years and yes they should have them. but it is not the law. wheel chairs are the only thing by law that have to have them. I have seen to many people fall because of that. And there are a lot of bus drivers I would not want to ride with either. It`s funny that the bikes are straped down but not the people.

Like USA I as well have my CDL and I agree there should be seat belts on school buses but, I am still not sure about the public transit system. There can be complications to the public buses with the belts. |
