Also when im done the test do i put the car in park, the do the parking brake of vise versa then. i think not knowing this is the only thing that can fail me

If you are referring to a car that is a stick shift, you always shift into the correct gear which is first, and then pull the brake up. If you are talking about an automatic, then you put the car in park first and then pull the brake up. Basically you put the car in park first every time and then pull the brake. When you finish the test you do put the car in park, to show that you can operate the vehicle in the correct way each time. |

When you get into the vehicle and the parkingbrake is on put it in your desired gear and then release the parking brake and when you go to park put the parkingbrake on and then put the vehicle in park or in first gear(if its a stickshift) this is how i was taught. |
