Someone please tell what is wrong with my car alarm?

I just got it installed today and I brought the viper security system and keyless entry. I also brought the proximity with it, so that is someone was messing with it for more than like 15 seconds it would chirp at them... but I've been trying it and it wont work? Am I doing something? or what's up. I even try opening my car and the alarm wont go off

Turn the key off, close the door and wait 5 to 10 minutes and then retry it and if that fails take it back so that the installation shop can help you.

when you arm it, you have to give it like 30-60 seconds to be active before you try and mess with it. Did you have a reparable company install it?

OMG take it back to who ever installed it. Or did they give you the owners manual. Its hard to say how its setup over teh internets. Read the owners manual and regram it.
