Stupid pedestrians?

I really do understand completely.

Though, I do think they should be punished if they don't stop for them, since they ARE human beings(Maybe).

It's the pedestrians whom should be punished, though, for not using the crossing.

These are habitual jay walkers and they are not stupids or idiots. They are just careless and have no consideration for others. They get pleasure by breaking traffic laws and in doing so, they are putting other people's lives also in danger.

If they get knocked down by a car, why should a motorist be punished?

I live in small-town America and you would not believe the idiocy. People just run right out, don't even bother looking. Bonus points if it's winter and the roads are slick!

Used to be people were ticketed for jaywalking.

Here in the states car drivers aren't always punished for hitting a pedestrian. I live in Las Vegas and pedestrians are always getting hit....they jaywalk, they cross against the red trying to get from one casino to the other, they're drunk as skunks and just walk right into traffic. The actions of both the driver and pedestrian are looked at to determine fault and often times the pedestrian is the one who screwed up. For example, the fatality my co-worker is dealing with...the guy was standing in the middle of the road, in the middle of the night, drunk as hell and wearing dark clothing, no street lighting. Car came around the corner & hit him...now the kids mom wants over $1 million dollars....not gonna happen, not even gonna come close.

Just like some drivers that speed over the limit past me, they really haven't saved any time when I pull up to them waiting at the same street light.

They want to save about 2 seconds. If they use the cross walks and wait, they risk the world coming to the end and horrors of all horrors being labeled a nerd.

It sounds like Los Angeles over there. I asked my insurance carrier specifically if it covered a pedestrian collision to make sure. It turns out that some of them are trying to damage a persons driving record. The others are really stupid.

Yes , what your saying is quite s correct . Their and I mean by thier Women are bad enough on tha pavement it dosent matter how wide ans most pavements arent they spread themselves out into the widest possible flanx ,so you casnt get by without stepping into the road ( they can see you coming 50 yds away but cant think to cooperate in getting byb Oh they should care ,but it just shows the ability for women to organise themselves . And they are unable to bend from at least the wiast up so one can squeeze bty .
Therei s a theory that women do not have any idea of the Mass they take up I think this proves it (Bad parking Reversing etc)
I think they all think they are size 12 or would like to be when in actual fact they are size 16
Time for street etiquette . Men always walk on the nearside of the pavement so if theres any stepping into traffic the group of women can do it

You are lucky that you have a car.
There are some unlucky one in a sense that they don't have money to buy cars. May be you don't have to face a red face boss in the office early morning and some of these pedestrians have to. May be you started from your home with a full-stomach filled with a healthy breakfast and may be some of the pedestrians started with an empty stomach. May be they are confused about life and may be tense that they have to pay for their children's fee or thinking over the cerdit card EMIs. The only solution is that we (or the car drivers) should not loose our patience over them (or others). They have the first right to cross the road, nevertheless, as a pedestrian.
Calm! By loosing your temper over them like this you may ruin your helath....so calm down! Practice Yoga!
