That is the date that it needs to be recertified as structurally safe. Call your gas company and they can tell you were you can have that done.

if it expires get it changed like a loaf of bread expires date its no good to eat, gas cylinder expires... possible explosion or release of deadly gas into your home seek advice from the suppplier and take action for you and your families health
