In emergencies, most people go blank. Just wait, someday someon will yell "call 9-1-1" and you will ask "what's their number?". Sounds stupid, but it really happens, and nobody knows how they will react or think in an emergency until it actually happens. Besides, it isn't a worldwide standard, and even parts of rural USA and Canada also aren't on the 9-1-1 response grid. |

yes if we can drive we should know how to call 911, however I work in insurance and I see alot of people a little dee de dee.
Mommy and Daddy always took care of them so they wouldnt know what to do.

It was a good idea years ago, when the 911 system first started. But I agree. I don't see much need for them nowadays. |
