No. The hazard perception test wants you to find DEVELOPING hazards. the method i advise my learners to use is to look for anything which COULD make you slow down or change direction. For example parked cars (could move away, open doors, pedestrians could step out from in between). When you spot one of these, click. If nothing else happens don't do anything else with regards to that potential hazard and continue watching for further hazards.

If the hazard develops, for example you see a pedestrian step between the cars, click again, then when they step out in front of you click again! This guarantees to get you into the scoring window as it's not unknown to click 'too soon' and not get any points. In reality, you can never spot a hazard too soon.

This method gives you one click per potential hazard, three clicks per developing hazards. None of my learners have ever had problems with their hazard perception test using this method.

You can pick up training aids everywhere. Don't bother paying 20 pounds for one because the 5 pound ones are just as good but make sure you practise before the test. Good luck and if you need further help PM me!

No you just click on the mouse when you see a hazard, you don't need to point at anything you just click on the mouse.

The only thing I suggest is go to WH Smith and get a good cd rom and practice as much as you can.. the theory test is a bit of rip-off I reckon but with that practice its a big help.. good luck...

during the test hazards happen in front of you and you click a mouse when you see it, the warning signs are the amount of times you have clicked, thus too many clicks will give you a fail. best thing to do is click once on mouse when you see hazard and wait for another to appear then click.

Naaa, click anywhere you want to so long as it's on the screen. You can even just hit the return key. It's just recognising a recognition of a Developing Hazard....
not something like up ahead 'that wee dog finishing of it's wee wee and might see the other dog across the other side of the road and make a dash for it. and trying to shoot the poor wee thing with your mouse.

You don't have to be computer nerd to pass it.... just be able to respond in time as a Developing Hazard becomes apparent that it will be a Potential Hazard.

You do not need to move the mouse at all just click every time a new hazard shows it self. Each clip can have more or less than the one before. If you click too much that required it will fail that clip.

Go get the CD at a Game shop or supermarket, You will need it
