You need both eyes to drive, otherwise your depth perception, and therefore, your braking distances will go out the window, judging the distances between cars will be a nightmare, bascially anything that involves mentally calculating distance will be SEVERLY impaired and may result in death!! |

been there ( had to drive to hospital with one eye closed) its not bad other than ur other eye gets really tired and ur depth perseption is off |

I would not even try it , it is a dangerous thing to do.
Apart from losing sight of a large area, you also loose depth perception.
A few years ago I had to wear an eye patch for several days, I wouldn't say it was enjoyable or fun! |

Already done that. Best to tape some patch on one eye as you will get a headache from just closing one.
I mostly enjoyed the weird color change one eye had opposed to the other. The ride went pretty smooth. Had to turn my head some more.
Had to limit my speed to. And brake sooner just to be safe. |
