hi,
I wonder what the solution would be for easy access to rear seat when two isofix car seats fitted in sedan cars?
Since in most of the sedans even it is not possible to isofix car seat in the middle and when you fit car seats on outer seats it means no passage to sit in the middle ...
Have you ever seen any sedan with isofix in the middle seat ?

i've never had a car with isofix!
but depending on the age and weight of the kids in the seats, one may fit in the centre, on the lapstrap, leaving one of the outer seats free for another passenger.
many seats for kids age 1 to 4, with 5 point harness, forward facing, can go in the centre, on the lapstrap. check in the instructions.
i have had 3 seats in the back of several cars. |

I'm thinking isofix is the same as LATCH and typically there are no connectors in the middle seat. Just a lap belt. It would be perfectly fine to put a seat in the middle using the lap belt and one on the outer seat with the connectors. The seat belts are just a safe as the connectors, just make sure you use a locking clip if your seatbelts do not lock on their own. Use the one that comes with the car seat. |
