I was coming out of a Targei parking lot, there is no lights, only your balls to cross over two lanes to get into a turning lane to go left.
I looked to the left and there were only two cars at a distance, enough time to cross over to the turning lane - when suddenly a black saab was coming my way via turning lane to the left of me (the driver side). I put on my brakes and looked at her and she was doing the same with an awful look on her face because she could not stop her car apparently in time. She was going way to fast for the turning lane and still ended up hitting me in the front tire and bumper. $2000 in damage to my vehicle (2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo).
She knew she was in the wrong and was a little freaked at me when we crashed.
You want to hear something really funny - she actually said that there was no need to call 911 because this was not life threatening. Well I was carried to the hospital in an ambulance from shock.

So basically you were both entering the turning lane at the same time you didn't see her and she didn't see you. until it was to late.
That is why we have no fault insurance |

Whenever you ever (unfortunately) get in a car accident - NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED -- Get out of your car (if you can) and blame everything on the other person -- everyone is in a fragile state as you learned -- and you can convince people stuff before the police get there |

The reason she didnt want you to call 911 was because she knew it was her fault. It wasnt your fault. you stompted on the brakes and she kept going. |

You have to get the word of the officers on scene and witnesses. It could be your fault, so be prepared. We are falible human beings. That goes for both of you. No matter whos fault it is, just be thankful that you still have a car to get around in. It isn't the end of the world and in time you can aquire another vehicle!!! No problems!!:) |
