If safe to do so, get out of the way.Sometimes it just isn't possible, Police drivers are trained to drive through traffic at speed if they can, sometimes it's safer to let them get round you. |

There is always enough room to move out of the way, you don't need to go through a red light, just move to one side or the other to let the police car by. |

Anything safe to get out of their way. Even if it involves crossing the stop line a bit or pulling onto the kerb. Always indicate to let them know what you are going to do. |

Legally, if the lights are red, you do not have to do anything. This has been tested in court. It is only a courtesy to move out of the way. If you did go through the red and there is a camera, you WILL get nicked. |

Well, you shouldn't go through the red light, and the police driver wouldn't expect you to.
Get out of the way if you can (and if you have to - I've seen people drive up on to the kerb, even when they weren't IN the way to start with), if not, move as soon as the light turns green.
In other words, just drive like you'd normally drive - but quickly. |

never make a turn, stay where you are or go straight and pull to the side when it's safe to do so. |
