sorry but this does sound like a bit of over-kill to me. i would be inclined to check with the SAR organisation you belong to as it may not be possible. if you get a positive answer then check how many and best place to put it/them and possibly check with police and DMV. i would not have thought it necessary to have them in your own vehicle.

Talk to your local DMV to see what you may mount. A lot of that has changed because people wanted drive around a use them when ever they saw fit. I am pretty sure you will not be allowed a siren at all. which is good.
