Weve got 2 inches of snow and now its sleeting and icing and the roads are slick. I have to leave for work in a few hours and I have to drive 30+ miles to get there?? What would you do in this situation? I know my manager would never close the place even if there was 4 inches of ice he doesnt care.

if you drive 30 miles to work, it would appear you already know jobs are not easy to come by.
maybe you want chains. i'd recommend cable chains. they're easier on the car.
drive slowly and carefully.
i'd assume that you'll have several days like this in the next few months, so you might just as well decide whether you like getting paid, and get used to it. |

Call the manager and tell him or her that it is too dangerous to go to work and stay home where it is safe.......life is too short. |

u can do what the guy said and if i think u might get fired then go to work just drive slow and keep a good distance from a car in case they stop u can stop to and avoid a crash try to go a little bit slower then the rest of the cars so u can be safer. |

Allow extra time, extra distance between you and the car ahead of you, carry a emergency kit, go slow. There is nothing else you can learn on a computer to help you drive in it. What do you think we did before computers and two inches is not much snow. |
