What are some mistakes you've made while driving?

well tomorrow i take my drivers test and im a little nervous. everyone says its easy so im less nervous but it seems that whenever i get behind the wheel i make a dumb mistake. like today while i was driving on the highway with my mom i accedentally cut some lady off.. i felt so bad and she looked really pissed off :( i hope she forgot. or another time when i forgot to yeild before turning left at an intersection and almost got hit by a car. yeah that time i had to pull over and have my dad drive because i started hypervenilating. sooo i cant be the worst driver out there can i? well i just turned sixteen. baby steps i guess lol. does anyone else have any stories where you just wanted to kick yourself becuase of something you did without thinking on the road?

The only mistake I have ever made was being naive enough to think that every other driver on the road was paying attention to what they were doing. I could not have been more wrong.

Not really an answer but i would just like to point out that driver_uk is my dad and he doesn't make mistakes but rather he just blatantly ignores a few laws.

No real way to reassure a test taker except to tell you not to be nervous.Pay attention to your driving and keep what you learned from the manual in your mind.Always a good idea to reread the book before you do the driving test.(oh and don't spill their coffee-D).

i was parrallel parking and was t boned by a car doing 60 and the instructer is paralized. and to answer the question keep moving your eyes and checking the mirrors and watch for school zones.

Nope...never done anything that stupid...I tend to pay attention to what I am doing and I am not off in la la land thinking about if my hair looks good or if the next song on the radio will be that one by that one guy that sings about that one thing...Like ya know what I mean!!!!

Here is a tip. Pay attention to what your doing. Scan and keep you eyes moving and try to remember that getting there in one piece is more important than trying to be cool when driving...so stop with the gangsta lean and pay attention!!!

I totalled a car by going too fast on a dirt road. I turned into a one way street the wrong way during my drivers test. I hit the gas instead of the break while parking my mother's car into the garage. Everyone makes mistakes, just do your best and if you fail, you can always take it again.
