You've already taken the test once, so you have an advantage. Go through the driver's handbook and focus on the topics you know are on the test, then take a couple of sample tests.

Take a peek at this web page, see if it helps.

http://www.dmv.state.pa.us/drivers_manual/pa_driversman.shtml

All the best.

Read the manual and relax.

Friendly Stranger..
Here are a few of my own tips that may help you when you take your permit test.

*Do not rush when taking the test. This is where a lot of test takers in general fail. They rush thinking that they are up against the clock. There is a time limit, however you must not rush because you make mistakes when you do.

*Study the night before and even days in advance. The more you study the better off you will be. Make sure you know the information inside out.

*When studying do not overload. Overloading your mind with information can cause you to forget useful information. It can also cause you to become stressed.

* Don't stress yourself out. Try to remain calm when you take the test. Stressing only makes things worse and you forget useful information.

*Also remember the driving terms on the test are common sense, so use some of your own knowledge to get the correct answers.

*Finally rest is key. Make sure to get rest and eat before you take the test. Not getting the proper rest means forgetting information and not recalling information. Not eating causes you to lose focus and you will not be able to concentrate.

ask to review the practice test first..it was exactlyyy like the real one..i did that and i got only 5 wrong...it was out of 30 or 40 i thought

Review your first test. The same basic questions will be on the test you take the second time. Especially look up the ones you missed in your copy of the drivers handbook so you will understand why you missed them.

Hint # 2: Don't psych your self out by worrying about failing the first time. Your attitude counts a lot so be confident you will pass, and don't be nervous. Good luck future motorist.
