What are some ways to drive under the influence safer, besides not doing it?

No matter how much we say don't drink and drive people will do it. I think we need to make the public really aware of how distracted they really are. I am thinking of putting a website up but wanted to see what people thought. If you are going to do it, how about do it as safely as possible. I think it is better to get the information on safe DUI driving than to turn our heads and just say don't.

True, no matter what you tell them, people are going to break the law. So you want to make it easier for them to do so. Do you realize how stupid taking that approach is? I would say more, but I really don't want to discuss it in a public forum, and you don't allow email.

Get real, there is no "safe" DUI driving. If you are over .08, you cannot be fit to drive, and wouldn't remember what you read on a website about driving drunk and safe, anyway. It's is a totally whacko idea. When you lose someone you care about to a drunk driver, you will see what I mean.

how about you get out of the car and get out of it, stay off of the road until you can control a 3000 pound death machine ( even a metro can kill someone, easily) just call someone else for a ride and remember where you parked.

Block off the street with signs that say the road is under construction so that you are the only car.

they should build lanes on the roads especially for DUI drivers and be fined if you are driving in the lane while not under the influence you should be fined or banned
