What are the chances that this might fall off my car on highway?

Traveling with a 28' extension ladder to and from work 30 mins to 1 hour on highway and 6 days a week....i have a SUV. With this on my car strapped securely with ratchet tie downs, what are the chances of it coming off when me driving?? that is my worst fear as of now lol

Add a piece of rope to the over-hang end, and take the bounce out..........you cant figure this out? dont bring your ladder my way, ta do any work................

A very good chance it'll happen.

If it is tight and you check it before every trip you should be safe. kids like to loosen tie downs where I live<

If you put it tight. It should not fall off. I work on a delivery truck I have done every imaginable thing. Even put a mattress on top of a car and it didn't fall off

If you check the tie downs on a regular basis and after you secure the ladder rap the ends around the ladder once more and tie it, it will not come off at all.
