What are the statistics on when do car accidents happen more?

I was wondering about whether car accidents happen more during the week or on weekends? We're on the road right now (sat.11/1/08) and not even 15 min on the road and we already dealt with two crazy a** drivers. So my husband and I came up with question, Thanks in advance!

630-8 am and 430-650 pm m-f. Most traffic and stop-and-go. There are more accidents during the week but less serious. more serious accident happen on fri and sat night.
