just wondering, cuz ppl r flipping bout when they r on the street alone when it gets dark, or guess even if they arent alone, still they get all paranoid bout sometin, but arent u most likely 2 stay alive?

Well, I think what you should do is start by traveling in groups. If you must walk the streets at night, then make sure you are not alone. Have a group of 3 or more with you. Traveling in packs is much safer because when you are alone you are a target for robbery or any type of attack. Make sure to have someone with you and travel in a group. Secondly, if you must walk the streets it doesn't hurt to have pepper spray or mace. For women especially this is a device or item that can buy them time to run away. If you are approached at night by a stranger make sure to have it handy and don't be afraid to use it. Thirdly, make sure to walk in well lit areas. Sometimes when you are at night the area may make you feel uneasy. It may be due to the amount of darkness in certain areas. If you are out at night walk in areas where it is well lit. That way you will be better seen by others, and if something were to happen you won't be totally ignored by others because of the darkness. Finally, if possible stay off the streets at night. Even though I have given you a few tips for being on the streets at night, the best advice is to stay off the the streets unless you have to travel them. |
