If you feel you are being harrassed by a DOT officer, is there a report or form you can fill out or turn in? The same officer keeps pulling us over repeatedly...is there anything I can do about it?

The only thing you can do is to have your vehicle in tip top shape. Make sure that your paperwork is in order and your truck had no, and I mean no, safety issues.
A DOT inspector is going to pull over the vehicle than has, in their opinion, the highest chance of being in violation. If they have pulled you over repeatedly, and each time have found problems, they know that you are not keeping up on your maintenance.
Some hints of things that the inspectors tend to focus on.
Tires. Matching tires with good tread are a sign of a truck that is well cared for. Mismatched and worn tires show that the owner is trying to avoid spending money on repairs.
Glass. Clean glass (including mirrors) show that the driver is interested in safety. They want to be able to see as well as possible.
Lights. Lights that are not working are a sure sign of a lack of pre trip inspection. If the lights are not checked, other things may not be either, and the DOT inspector will most likely find violations. Carrying spare lights is a good idea. If you are pulled over and have one light out, it can be explained as having gone out that day. If you have a spare with you, and install it right them, it makes it look like you are concerned about safe operation.
Clean truck. A truck that is clean shows that the owner / driver has pride in the truck. They are less likely to let other things go. A truck that is filthy is much more likely to be pulled over for inspection. |

Depends on if he found any violations. I had the same problem 1 time with a female DOT officer in Indiana. She wrote me a warning for 15 minutes late on my logs. I finally called her boss in Indianapolis and it come to a screeching halt. |
