You can get a plumber 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But you will have to pay a premium price to have one come out on weekends or after regular hours.

Look in the phone book to see which ones offer 24 hour emergency repairs.

A good plumber is always on call. The charge for a weekend repair may be significantly more than on the same repair on a weekday.

That depends on the agency the plumber works for. Some days require more repairs than others. But I think that it is dependent on what the agency says. Usually a plumber is always available since the job requires that there be someone willing to use their time if a problem arises.
