What do I need to teach my husband to drive?

Im in Australia and hold a full open licence and want to save money by teaching him myself - he has a learner licence and is 25 years old. Do I need some special insurance or something? I know I need L plates but can I just go out and teach him ?Any help is much appreciated.

An automatic trans is easier to learn, think of juggling, would you prefer learning with 3 eggs or 7 eggs.
Call your state authority for any specific licenses but add hubby to your insurance .

You need more guts than brains to teach a spouse to drive. LOL My one unchanging bit of advice, over the years, has always been, "Don't handle rattle snakes and don't try to teach your spouse or kid to drive".

Here's what you do...sign him up for driver's ed. You are not a licensed instructor and this "saving money' is a bad idea...it also puts everyone else on the roads at higher risk.

Driver's Ed doesn't cost that much...not nearly as much as costing an innocent person their life. Do the smart, responsible thing.
