For me, I find it to be poor judgement to abruptly swerve in front of my tractor trailer at a red light only to get one or sometimes half a car length ahead of the person they were behind. Running red lights is common in Tampa, so that is expected here.... still not a good idea. Driving 70 in a 55mph zone, not slowing for construction zones. Tailgating, lack of turn signals and hyper-aggressive driving don't mix. We have loads of serious injuy accidents on a daily basis, ironically enough at the same places in the morning and evening, when will everyone catch on, or at least the police??? The last thing that irks me when driving at work is when people stop right behind my trailer at a red light and expect me to take off like I'm in a car... they swerve to get around me, then cut in front of me to turn into a business..... I haul shingles and roofing materials and most of the time my fully loaded truck weighs in around 77,000#'s You don't need a degree in physics to realize that I'm not going to start or stop very quickly.
Can we all maybe start to share the road and be more civil behind the wheel?? I'm willing to hold up my end of the agreement. |

Driving in the fast lane and driving way slower than everyone else. You are not supposed to enforce others speeds by dangerously blocking the fast lane and forcing others to speed around you and pass on the right! Road Rage is another form of bullying behaviour, so I don't encourage people to take it out on the road. There was a fatality in a road rage incident in California the other month. Breathe people! |
