It depends on where you live, but its either sand or salt (technically its not salt (sodium chloride)....most places have switched over to calcium chloride which doesn't clump as much). |

They usually throw salt on the snow, becouse it will reduce the freezing temprature below 0, so it will prevent iceing on the roads. |

Pray it is sand in the long run, it will make your Car last longer., if not Wash the Bottom ASAP. |
