I think I know who did it. These young kids that tried to scare us one night by following/chasing us home with their lights off. I think I know where they stay also.

Report the theft to the police, tell them what you think happened & who you think is involved. The record is important, especially if there are future burglaries or damages. In the end, the kids' parents may be notified. |

Make a report to the police department. If nothing else you will have a recorded history should things continue with you being harassed and your property damaged.
You probably will not bother to turn it over to your insurance company because policies usually have a deductible provision and the cost to replace the emblem would not be great enough to get past the deductible amount. |

Police can't do **** about that, you MUST grow some cajones and show these kids you're not gonna get pushed around but don't take it too far, be sarcastic and confront them about it, say ''you guys seem to hang around here a lot, have you seen anybody messing with our car?'', once they know you're onto them I guarantee it will never happen again. If you wanna take it further then go ahead and curse them out, most kids are worthless peices of s%#t these days, I should know...I just turned 18 and if I was in their shoes and you do as I said, I'd be scared so don't be afraid to step up |
