1 is clear, accurate directions. #2 would be visibility at a glance, maybe by putting it right under ones sight line, instead of off to the side. #3 would be topo-style maps for us off-roaders, i mean why is it i can buy a hand-held garmin, and an automotive garmin, but if i want both, i have to buy both? It doesn't seem to far fetched to come up with a hand held unit that can plug into a car screen, then unplug and go on a hike in the mountains. |

The gps should be strong, rigid and wear resistant with minimum weight and least dimensions.
The reliability of the gps is a very important if the gps has to find the huge market in the business.
The longer the life of the gps more it develops the reputation of being the dependable gps and more will be its sale.
Least amount of repairs and maintenance will be required for the gps.
