They get transferred to your full licence.

If you have points on your provisional, you may not get a full license!

david l
they get transferred until the expiry date and then you apply for a clean license and you pay for it ( the clean one)

well put it this way dude when you get your full license your automatically on 6 points for the first 2 years so if you have 6 points now then your getting banned

are they points that came witht he liceanse, or points that you obtained while haveing the license. If they are point that came with it tey go away, if you earned those point then your screwed for 2 more years.

If the points on your provisional have not expired (this takes 4 years) they will be transfered to your full licence to run their full term.

MuffDvr
Dont get the full licence! You get three points for no insurance on a prov, and six points for the same on a full!!
The worlds gone mad!

They are transferred and stay on the licence until they are spent.

forktail_devil
in ohio, points stay for 3 yrs from conviction. they will transfer to the other license. careful, they can add up very quickly, and takes much longer to get em off.

They come with it.

points on your licence are on there for 3 years, they are carried on to your full licence for the remainder of the outstanding time, if you accumulate 6 penalty points within 2 years of passing your test then your licence is automatically revoked, you will have to apply for another provisional and start all over again, when you pass your test again you will still have the points on your licence and they will not come off until the 3 years are up.

CONTACT YOUR LOCAL DMV OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS AND AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL BE GETTING THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.

David
They are carried straight over to your fill licence - not sure how long they stay on there. As in if you get points they are valid for 5 yrs (?) not sure when you get the full licence if they are 5 yrs from that point.
