If you have points on your provisional, you may not get a full license! |

they get transferred until the expiry date and then you apply for a clean license and you pay for it ( the clean one) |

If the points on your provisional have not expired (this takes 4 years) they will be transfered to your full licence to run their full term. |

in ohio, points stay for 3 yrs from conviction. they will transfer to the other license. careful, they can add up very quickly, and takes much longer to get em off. |

points on your licence are on there for 3 years, they are carried on to your full licence for the remainder of the outstanding time, if you accumulate 6 penalty points within 2 years of passing your test then your licence is automatically revoked, you will have to apply for another provisional and start all over again, when you pass your test again you will still have the points on your licence and they will not come off until the 3 years are up.

They are carried straight over to your fill licence - not sure how long they stay on there. As in if you get points they are valid for 5 yrs (?) not sure when you get the full licence if they are 5 yrs from that point. |
