Driving a Ford Contour and I getting t-boned in the driver's door by a 3500 series Dodge Truck pulling a wood chipper?
would I:

[ ] be maimed / seriously injured

I am guessing you would be hurt pretty badly if not killed.
A 1 ton dodge with a industrial chipper in tow is not a light vehicle:

Ya you definitely wouldn't be perfectly fine I'd say be maimed / seriously injured but it all depends on the speed and safety feature of you're vehicle. |

Don't count your chickens just yet, it takes days and even months to realize the true extent of the damage to your person, do not settle with an insurance company, don't even answer any questions put to you by them, contact a personal injury attorney at once! They will want to settle for far less than it is worth, you can accept this or not, your going to get the shaft either way! Never tell anyone you feel fine ever again. Everything you got hurts and don't you forget it, besides in a few more days it probably will! |

If the Dodge truck was doing 5 MPH, you'd be perfectly fine. If the Dodge truck was doing 30-35 MPH you'd be maimed/ seriously injured. If the Dodge truck was doing 55 on up you'd die. |

a similar situation with a passenger car,(hold the wood chipper) , killed my Dad. The sideways whiplash from a t-bone is a pretty devastating hit, the ligament in the neck are vulnerable, as well as your cervical vertebrae. It designed to only move so far. ( move your head from shoulder to shoulder, feel the strain?) At any rate, a t-bone is a rough way to be hit. |
