Scientifically, the most visible color on highways is Kermit the Frog green, like "go" light signals. As for depreciation, black goes down hill fastest and silver stays higher longest. Resaleability are bright reds, dark blues and kelly green. |

i'd say it'll be silver. It looks sophisticated and refined, and so is black. But you would really feel like an oven in there, cause black absorbs heat. So try to stay away from black. |

White is the most practical - from any point of view - color. I know it may sound weird but even dirt is less visible on white paint. Scratches, small dents, etc. are not nearly as obvious than on dark cars. Silver is OK too but it's not nearly as easily spotted. |

Yellow, or mainly something bright |

Some would say white, but could you see it in the snow? Yellow is the safest colour, as it can clearly be seen in low light, say, against a landscaped roundabout. Most other colours, 'blend' into the background, as I have witnessed many times early morning / dusk. |

You can have any colour you like as long as it's black! so said henry Ford. What was good enougfh for henry should be good enough for you! |

usually the 3 main colours that sell the best at dealerships are silver, black, red, dark blue.but what ever colour you go for it must be matalic as this will add value to the resale price.on a brand new car matalic could cost you up to 2 grand! |

Well,I'll go with the WHITE,because police cars and ambulances are.Red like fire truck red i figure would be for emergencies even thou they're all some sort of emergency vehicles. |

Red and white pigments do not hold up to sunlight and fade/dull faster than other colours |

silver is supposed to be he vis and also it stops the sun heating the car up and its waxed very easily |
|

That depends on where you live, dust color in Texas, mud color in Nebraska, any dirty color in New York - make the color fit the environment, it'll keep looking clean longer |

Black always looks classy, grey and silver are the worst colours to see, they blend in with the tarmac and the british weather !!! |

Silver looks good on nearly any car and does not show the dirt.
Yellow is probably the most visible re safety but the paint can age more quickly, especially if not waxed. This also applies to white.
Blues are very acceptable when pricing a secondhand car, but dark ones show the dirt nearly as badly as black.
Greens can be difficult re looking good.
Neutral drab colours are allegedly much more likely to cause you to suffer a 'sorry mate I did not see you'. A colleague had an Audi 80 in a drab conifer and had three of these.
Metallic colours keep their appearance much better and need little if any waxing. Mercedes for instance ccover theirs with a tough coat of clear polyurethane varnish.
If buying keep your eye out for the car concerned and note different colours. It is amazing how much better they look in the right colour (for them!) |

I always thought that the best colour was white because with certain companies (where I live in Spain) you pay less insurance if you have a white car (like I do). Also, if you have an accicent, it's very easy to touch up the paint on a white car but with other colours you need to completely re-spray. |

The most desirable colours are black and silver. A lot of people will pay a premium for these colours. Black looks great when it's clean and shiny. However, be prepared to spend a lot of time cleaning it as every little mark shows. This is the same for most dark colours, although metalic tones hide it better.
The best colours that still look great when the car is not so clean are red and silver.
Stay away from white cars unless it's a VW Rabbit. Who wants to drive a car that looks like a wedding car or ex-police car. Unless you are driving a supercar, stay away from yellow too.
The other colours in between; as long as they aren't too loud, they shouldn't compromise the cars resaleability. Just don't pick anything too individual.
I've been driving a black car for the past few years, and have never had any issue with other road users not seeing me. I don't think that the colour of the cars has much baring on safety. I was reading something a few weeks ago that said that even though motorists may be aware of the vehicles around them, when it is raining they do not see car colour unless the car is directly ahead of them. This includes police cars too, which was suprising as they are covered in reflective panels.
If you are looking for a car, get the colour you like. Just don't go too wild.

This question is very hard to answer. Ha hahahhaah~ I'm keeping it up here even though this is the dumbest answer ever, I THOUGHT YOU SAID CAT. Have a good laugh.
Re: visability, it would be the highest contrast of his usual environment. White cat in the dark, orange cat on blue carpet, purple cat on green carpet, etc.
Re: safety, his or yours? Get a cat that's friendly. Breed rather than color has more to do with this than color...plus the cat's personality.
Re: value as a piece of property, again, depends more on breed. You won't be able to sell a stray no matter what color.
All this plus you will enjoy any colored cat more, when you live with him, when you sell him, either way...if he is healthy, well-behaved, and loved. |

green is concidered unlucky. Red cars have been proved to be the most likely to be stolen. Yellow is good for visability but let's face you'd look like you were driving a banana. Black is too dark. white too hard to keep clean. Most cars look good in silver. Metalic paint is always a good selling point. Other than that it's personal choice. |
